‘Is it raining?’ – Present Continuous

The way we build questions in Present Continuous is inversion. It means that we swap a subject with verb ‘to be’  (am, is, are)

Sposobem budowania zdań w czasie Present Continuous jest inwersja. Zamieniamy miejscami podmiot i odmieniony czasownik “być”.

Apart from inversion we also put a question word at the beginning.

W przypadku zdań szczegółowych, oprócz inwersji musimy pamiętać o odpowiednim pytajniku na początku zdania.

Where are you walking?

When is Tina leaving?

How are they feeling?

Which pair of jeans are you wearing?

What are you staring at?
